We are very excited and proud to invite you and your team to the Forth Annual Flint River Fall Finale in Albany, Georgia. This event is hosted by the Albany Area YMCA Soccer Association and directed by Jay Wingo of Near Post Soccer. 

 

We have an excellent location, date, and facilities to show your team an outstanding weekend of soccer. Our southwestern Georgia location will allow us to attract top teams from south and central Georgia clubs such as Macon,Warner Robins, Valdosta Thomasville, LA (lower Alabama) clubs Mobile, Montgomery Auburn, the Gulf Coast of Mississippi, Florida panhandle clubs from Jacksonville, Tallahassee, Pensacola as well as Atlanta area teams who are looking for some different competition than they see at most tournaments.

 

Our tournament date of November 22 and 23 is a natural end to the fall season. This is the last weekend before Thanksgiving, which gives teams plenty of time to complete their regular season and allows them to attend a post season tournament before the Holiday season begins.

 

Albany’s excellent south Georgia location will also help to ensure warmer weather than most other tournaments farther north this time of year.

 

Tournament matches will be played on fields at the Albany Area YMCA Sports Park as well as other quality fields in the area. The Y Sports Park features 8 to 10 fields with 2 sets of restrooms and a full service concession stand. All tournament fields will be within 10 minutes driving time of each other. In addition to our high quality facilities, we have an experienced, friendly staff of YMCA professionals and soccer club volunteers, expertly led by Near Post Soccer, who want to show you a great weekend of soccer.
