Augusta Arsenal Spring Shootout
February 9-10 at Augusta Soccer Park
We are very excited and proud to invite you and your team to the 24th Annual Augusta Arsenal Spring Shootout, hosted by the Augusta Arsenal Soccer Club and directed by Jay Wingo of Near Post Soccer.

We are planning for 100 to 120 teams in age groups of U-9 through U-14 for both boys and girls.  Our great location will allow us to attract teams from Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Florida and the Carolina’s which means teams will be able to play competitive matches against teams at their same level from other areas that they do not regularly play against.

Several important changes have been made to this year’s tournament to make it even a better experience for teams. First, this year’s tournament matches will be played at the Augusta Soccer Park and the Wheeler Road YMCA instead of Fort Gordon as in past years. Both complexes are located conveniently off of I-20 at the Bel Air and Wheeler Road exits and will help make it much easier for teams to get to and from matches. We have also moved the tournament date to a week later than previous years. This later date of February 9-10 will greatly increase the number of potential teams who are ready and looking to play in a spring preseason tournament. Last, we are offering the tournament for the age groups of U-9 through U-14. The lesser number of age groups than past years will allow us to focus in on these younger age groups and give them a truly outstanding tournament experience.

Excellent central location, outstanding facilities, focusing on younger age groups and a tremendous tournament staff of friendly, experienced volunteers expertly directed by Near Post Soccer will help guarantee you and your team a great weekend of soccer. Please plan to join us for what promises to be an outstanding tournament experience.
