2012 Tiger College Showcase for Girls
March 3rd and 4th - Auburn, Alabama

We are excited and proud to invite you and your team to the Sixth Annual Tiger College Showcase on March 3rdand 4th in Auburn, Alabama. This elite event is hosted by the Auburn Soccer Association and directed by Jay Wingo of Near Post Soccer. This showcase will bring some of the regions best girls club teams together with college coaches from across the country at some of the best playing facilities in the country.

We are planning on 50 to 60 high level girls teams in the U-14, U-15, U-16, U-17 and U-19 age groups. We have added the U-14 age group this year in response to the tremendous amount of interest from teams in that age group who wanted to participate. Teams will be invited from Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Florida, Tennessee , the Carolina’s and Midwest states. This spring weekend will be particularly good for La., Miss., Tenn., and Fla. club teams who do not have the conflict of  spring high school soccer. In past year’s we have had  club teams participate from 11 different states. Along with these top quality club teams, top women’s college teams from Auburn, Alabama, Florida State and West Florida as well as the Trinidad and Tobago Women’s National team have competed in past Tiger College Showcases .

Over 150 college coaches will be invited to attend to scout/evaluate the matches. All levels of college programs will be represented from NCAA D-1,2,3, to NAIA as well as Junior Colleges. Players will benefit from the opportunities of being evaluated during their matches as well as the tournament distributing their re’sume’s to the attending coaches. Several top D-1 women’s programs will be playing spring matches against each other at the Auburn Soccer Complex on Saturday, the 3rd as an added bonus.

Matches will be played at the recently opened Auburn Soccer Complex. This complex developed by the City of Auburn Parks and Recreation Department has some of the finest playing surfaces in the southeast and serves as home to the Thunder Road Classic each August. Plans are being made to play the Sunday championship matches in each age group at the Auburn University Soccer Stadium.

Elite club teams, top college teams, a ton of college coaches and outstanding playing facilities will make for a memorable event you will not want to miss. Please plan to join us for a great weekend of soccer at "the loveliest village on the plain".
