Dear Coach/Youth Soccer Enthusiast:
We are very excited and proud to invite you and your team to the Second Annual Heart of Georgia Classic, hosted by the Macon Soccer Club and directed by Jay Wingo of Near Post Soccer. The Macon area boasts outstanding venues just off of I-475 less than 10 minutes apart. Along with these outstanding venues we have an experienced, friendly staff of volunteers expertly led by Near Post staff, who will show you a great weekend of soccer.
We are planning for 100 to 120 teams in age groups of U-9 through U-19 for both boys and girls. Our great location, less than an hour south of the Atlanta airport, will allow us to attract teams from Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Florida and the Carolina’s which means teams will be able to play competitive matches against teams at their same level from other areas that they do not regularly play. Top teams from Jacksonville, Gainesville, Tallahassee, Pensacola, Birmingham, Huntsville, Chattanooga, Knoxville as well as Atlanta have all participated in past Near Post directed events and many are sure to join us again in Macon.
Outstanding facilities, all within 10 minutes of each other, great central location for teams from across the southeast and an outstanding staff of professionals and volunteers will help guarantee an outstanding tournament experience for you and your team.
