Ambassadors are those people who are willing to contact individuals and businesses to sponsor them to play in our Golf Classic. Ambassadors do not have to play in the Classic to help Shannon Forest raise funds. There will be exciting prizes for for the top 3 fund raising Ambassadors. Ambassadors must raise a minimum of $150 if they wish to play in the golf classic. Ambassadors will need to register online at our website - www.sfcsgolfclassic.com.
What Amount are Ambassadors Expected to Raise?
We are asking that Ambassadors have a goal of a raising $1000 each. History has taught us that if Ambassadors contact their list of 40 potential sponsors they will be able to raise their goal and in many cases exceed their goal. Ambassadors that do not reach that goal will still be able to play as long as they raise a minimum of $150.
Does This Concept of Fund Raising Really Work?
You will be amazed at how much fun and satisfaction the golfers will feel playing golf and raising money for SFCS. There is a great sense of accomplishment felt at the end of the day, knowing that they have given back to a school that gives so much back to its students and the community.
May I Find Someone to Help Me With Reaching My Sponsorship Goal?
Yes. Many golfers enlist the help of a spouse, friend, associate, etc. who may not play golf, but want to be involved in helping SFCS. Golfers may have as many "caddies" as they wish to help them find sponsors. Caddies will not only help to increase friends and funds but also help to spread the word about SFCS.
Why Am I Developing Sponsorship?
The money you and your fellow golfers help raise will go directly to benefit the first year of the new SFCS Football Program. Long-term and more importantly, you are helping SFCS continue to attract and educate students who will be able to go out into the world and impact it for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
May Golfers Choose Their Own Team?
Yes. We encourage golfers to put together their own teams. If you do not have a team we will place you on a team based on your feedback of who you might know that is playing and does not have a team.
What if I Want to Play, but I am Unable to Contact Potential Sponsors?
Those interested in playing, but will be unable to contact sponsors may pay $150 to participate in the Classic.
